All three roles are designed around a Wits student’s schedule. No fixed office hours. No minimum commitment on the affiliate role. Moderating is asynchronous — you respond when it suits you. Campus Associate work happens at events and via WhatsApp, on your terms.

Affiliate — share a link

Apply and receive your unique referral link within 24 hours. Share it in your module WhatsApp, on social media, in your res. Every Wits first-year who enrols earns you R300 in the launch month — tracked automatically via your GoAffPro dashboard.

Community Moderator — answer questions

Moderate the UMM Academic Community forum for one or more Wits modules. Answer peer questions from your own experience. Escalate complex questions to the facilitator team. per module. 10–15 hours asynchronous work.

Campus Associate — activate cohorts

Be UMM’s physical presence at Wits. Organise group sign-ups through societies, res committees and student associations. Paid per cohort activated plus standard referral bonuses on every individual enrolment.

You may hold all three roles simultaneously. The R300 launch month referral bonus applies across every role. Affiliate income, moderator pay and campus associate bonuses all stack. No cap. No exclusivity. Compatible with your studies and with facilitating for UMM if you are eligible.
